PURPOSE
Responsible for maintaining the availability of a portfolio of products across a number of customers, all packed in the UK. They will liaise closely with both the buying teams and account managers to determine upcoming demand and plan orders accordingly while also maintaining stock holding at a minimum. They will be required to develop strong relationships with dry goods and liquid suppliers, hauliers and bottlers in order to deliver the best possible service to the business.

- Maintaining product availability
- Minimising stock holding
- Supplier inbound performance
- Improving service from dry goods and liquid suppliers
CONTACTS/ KEY RELATIONSHIPS & NATURE OF INFLUENCE
Internal:
- Bulk Manufacturing Team – escalating any forecasted dry goods shortage and sharing information on late running orders
- Buyers/Account Managers – tracking stock requirements and planning new line launches
- Supply chain – communicating availability and maintaining stock levels
External:
- Suppliers – liaising with suppliers regarding shipping and delivery dates, invoicing and responding to queries
- Hauliers – tracking delivery dates are as per schedule
- Bottlers – monitoring dry goods availability and planning filling dates
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS
ESSENTIAL:
- Demand Planning experience
- Demonstrate an understanding of forecasts, supply and demand
- Microsoft Office literate
- Strong communication skills
TECHNICAL/ BEHAVIOURAL/ PERSONAL COMPETENCIES
Able to work under pressure, the successful candidate will be able to build strong rapports with their supply base and hauliers to enable influencing of high service levels. Maintaining customer availability within the stocking policy parameters and being able to work within the rest of the team for shared knowledge and success. Understanding the impact of over and understocking, the individual will be rigorous in their approach to every order placed on a supplier or bottler.
