About the role

Key Purpose:

  • Supplying in depth, insightful commercial and financial reporting and analysis across our entire customer base and full P&L. The output should inform and understand our performance towards influencing the trajectory of the TR EMEA business.
  • Review and finalisation of all PL’s for the 25 markets within the PR EMEA TR region for reporting, estimates, budgets and strategic planning
  • Complete commentaries for the Group (Monthly BU comments, Strategic Brand comments, full PL reporting) 
  • Build budgeting & strategic planning process from a financial perspective through development of models and templates to ensure robust financial plans
  • Responsibility for providing the accurate and effective financial information (restated from FX impact and perimeter impacts) to Executive team
  • Ensure corporate reporting & planning deadlines are met and Group guidelines followed
  • Provide financial support to commercial and marketing teams as appropriate
  • Support and drive Revenue Growth agenda within TR EMEA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Head of FP&A providing month-end variance analysis, leading 'deep dive' investigations into key emerging or unexplained trends feeding in to the budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Be a Business Partner of commercial team and leading the financial analysis during annual client negotiations
  • Providing analytical support on ad hoc analyses that drive strategic and operational decisions
  • Coordinate commercial team and gain insight for the Budget, Latest Estimates, Risk & Ops and monitor/analyse key variances, whilst ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Be a key and active member of the Revenue Growth community across GTR and share best practices/implement new ideas through comparisons and exchanges with peers in other affiliates
  • Support Global projects on the Revenue Growth Agenda
  • Lead the Revenue Growth Management strategy within EMEA, working closely with GTR Revenue Growth community
  • Producing customer and promotional analysis to ensure profitability of the promotional offer activity
  • Build Risks & Opps for the local business as well as consolidating all submissions for the region
  • Analysis/review of brand P&L’s through global checks and bridges to explain any variances vs. LY, budget and latest re-forecasts
  • Analyse complex information quickly, draw meaningful conclusions and provide synthetic financial analysis that enables the various departments (primarily Sales) to make appropriate business decisions
  • Dedicated and complex analytical (‘what-if’) support to the key stake holders
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency of financial planning process, accuracy and assumptions that underpin forecasts
  • Work on Group projects from a financial perspective
  • Managing, coaching and developing direct reports (team of 4 analyst with different levels of seniority)

About you

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with post qualified experience
  • Degree educated
  • Previous experience in commercial finance / business partnering roles
  • Proficient with MS Office tools with Advanced level Excel skills
  • Well-developed logical, analytical, problem-solving skills
  • A goal driven individual that is both an independent worker and a strong team player
  • Strong Ethical framework, high personal integrity
  • Line management experience
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Systems: Hyperion and Essbase experience

Desirable Requirements:

  • Second language (preferable French)
  • Financial Accounting
  • Audit role in a big 4 firm
  • Exposure to multiple currency environment
  • Previous experience in the drinks industry, FMCG, Retail or Travel Retail industry
