We have a great opportunity for someone looking to further their wine career with an award-winning independent retailer, working within a dynamic food and wine focused team. Bottle Apostle is currently looking for an assistant manager to join our Primrose Hill team.
We have a small, eclectic list of approximately 600 wines with a special focus on Italy, Austria, Portugal and California. In addition to our selection, we have a busy calendar of public and private tutored events.
We are in search of a knowledgeable assistant manager for our shop in NW1. Successful candidates will be familiar with wine retail and event environments and be willing to become an integral part of this small and exciting company.
Key Requirements:
- Previous wine retail experience ESSENTIAL
- High level of wine knowledge, WSET Advanced (Level 3) certification a minimum
- Must be enthusiastic, customer-service driven and hard-working
- Must be organised, detail-oriented and proactive
- Available to work weekends and other unsociable hours
- Passionate about food and wine
- Excellent communication and written English skills
- Works well within a team and self-motivated
- Must be able to lift 20kg
- Eligible to work in the UK
