Who will you be working for?

My client is one of a handful of venues that are offering an exclusive culinary experience. They are a medium sized operator with under 20 different units - more on the horizon!! Dedicated to delivering a high standard in cuisine, liquor & service levels, my client nevertheless is adamant that these qualities can be enjoyed in an unpretentious manner. Creating the right ambience in each individual concept is paramount for my client, whether it a pint of ale & a classic British dish after work, or a 3 courses & wine dining extravaganza well into the night

What are we looking for?

  • Assistant Manager will remain at all times focused on delivering excellent customer service & consistent, quality food & drink
  • Assistant Managers must remain visible at all times – a charismatic & ‘face of the business’ management style is needed
  • This venue has gone from strength to strength since opening and requires a Assistant Manager who is eager to learn, has experience in training and developing their staff, monitoring standards & who likes to lead from the front

Other points?

  • My client is all about the customer, so a successful Assistant Manager will need to demonstrate a people focus throughout their career
  • Big personalities & approachable characters do well in these surroundings so a love for the trade & a passion for good food and drink are essential
  • Assistant Managers require some experience with stock control, training & developing staff plus wine & cocktail knowledge
  • Your background will be either in a quality independent pub/dining concept, fine dining restaurants or a similar quality focused operation
