The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be working alongside the General Manager Alex and the Assistant Manager Chris to push and drive sales to the business through productive, active marketing.  We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience in sales and marketing within hospitality or similar fields.  The candidate will be responsible for driving the business forward through various marketing channels including digital and print based. They are expected to build relationships with customers and other businesses, developing their own contact/client database.  

You must be an extremely polite, highly organised and sociable individual.

Key Accountabilities of the Sales & Marketing Coordinator:

  • Events: Organising and coordinating with suppliers to generate in-house events. Looking at sporting events, annual days and festive periods and organising events in accordance with these. Marketing all events in an exciting, innovative way to encourage and drive sales to customers. Submitting design brief to Young’s in house design team for POS.
  • Bookings: Supporting the GM with booking management and selling space for parties and events.
  • Website updates: Ensuring the pub's website is up to date with current events, menus, and all relevant information.  This also includes ensuring Design My Night, Timeout and Google pages are all up to date with current information.
  • CRM strategy: Compile, proof and segment data and use email, print, e-newsletters and social media to drive direct response, conversion and engagement.
  • Social Media and Reviews: To manage social media platforms and online review platforms. Including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tripadvisor, Google review, Design My Night review Time Out and Facebook review.
  • Campaigns – plan, design, implement and report on seasonal campaigns.
  • Networking - Building long lasting relationships with customers and business to drive sales.  Generating a personal client/contact database.

Requirements of the Sales & Marketing Coordinator:

  • 1 years experience within sales & marketing.
  • CRM experience including email marketing.
  • Event management
  • Ticket sales (experience preferably).
  • Some experience with B2B and B2C sales.
  • Experience in writing copy for website, print and social media.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills is essential.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure both within a team or on own initiative.
