Wine Hub - Retail Business Management Platform (applicable to this role)
Building on our wine inventorying expertise, the Wine Hub is a new, industry specific operating platform for independent wine businesses.
Scores of companies have migrated to the Wine Hub from NetSuite, MS Dynamics, and other wine business management software in the 24 months since release. The combination of industry specific data and expertise, flexible workflow management for all inventory types, integrated e-commerce and multichannel is a game-changer for the wine market, and we are growing the team across all departments in response to strong market demand.
Purpose of Role
The Delivery Specialist role is critical for delivering a seamless well managed onboarding experience for all our new clients including wine retailers, merchants, distributors, and brokers - from their existing systems to our state of the art platform known as the Wine Hub.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the data, delivery, development, client teams and third parties to ensure project functions are delivered within contractual duration, effort and deadlines.
- Setting up, managing, testing and sign-off of task actions on Smartsheets to ensure delivery is executed against a predefined Wine Hub onboarding process.
- Working within the organisation to hand hold clients though the process of conditioning and mapping of data from their current systems to the Wine Hub.
- Resolving all issues with the provided datasets before loading into the Wine Hub.
- Leading the migration, testing and go live processes to the Wine Hub.
- Escalate issues to the team leader and help to mitigate risk where possible through a controlled policy and process framework.
- Organising the set up of new Wine Hubs including the configuration and setting up of user profiles.
- Coordinating the integration of the Hub with existing 3rd Party APIs such as Liv-ex.
- Liaise with the development team to deliver enhanced functionality following user stories.
- Document learnings, delivery steps and workflows to allow better team collaboration.
- Learn and build on a knowledge base to improve the quality of delivery of future projects.
- Apply best practices to and be an ambassador for continuous improvement of the delivery process to help improve quality and reduce effort.
- Ensure the delivery of services is properly monitored and managed against service levels.
- Support the creation of management information related to the delivery function.
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience in working as part of an evolving and growing team
- Strong ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
- A good level of technical facility to understand how systems work
- Ability to review data in Excel and Google Sheets (all processing is done in SQL).
- Desirable to have experience of managing projects of any scale
- Highly desirable to have experience of the wine industry
- Useful to have had a SaaS experience
