Online Marketing Executive
Marlo is an online wine retailer, which launched in February 2020. Based in Wandsworth London, Marlo delivers fine wine by the bottle to the next working day to the door. Marlo was nominated for online wine retailer of the year 2021 (International Wine Challenge Awards) and has become synonymous with luxury gifting and a place to find incredible wines. Each wine is beautifully wrapped and sent with a handwritten gift note. Marlo has just undergone a seed round of investment and is looking for a creative online marketing executive to help build this exciting start-up
Main purpose of job:
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the hands-on daily management, creation, delivery and performance of our online marketing activity.
Responsibilities:
• Hands-on management and delivery of all online advertising and direct marketing.
• PPC Search Engine Advertising
o Day to day management of Google AdWords and Bing Ads
o Routine optimisation of ads – working closely with team members to deliver relevant, fast changing and efficient adverts with a strict focus on ROI and profitability
o Ongoing optimisation of keywords, ad-texts and shopping campaigns
• Social Media Advertising
o Develop and manage exceptionally targeted campaigns to deliver maximum sales and ROI with focus on Facebook and Instagram.
o Frequent and fast optimisation of campaigns
• Marketplace Advertising
o Creation and ongoing optimisation of Amazon Adverting campaigns
• Email Marketing
o Day to day manageyment of EMS using MailChimp and Shopify
Collection and segmentation of customer data
o Create Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes: email templates
o Create and input content
o Assess and report on campaign success and profitability
• Use Google Analytics to analyse and report on all marketing campaign performance
• Create and manage Pinterest business account and successfully manage advertising campaigns
Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
• At least 2-3 years hands on experience managing Google AdWords and Bing Ads campaigns.
• At least 2-3 years hands on experience managing social media advertising (primarily Facebook / Instagram).
• Experience of email marketing (inc. data collection, segmentation, campaign creation and delivery)
• Experience of Amazon (and other platforms) advertising
• Google Analytics expertise
• Creative, analytical, data driven, pro-active and hard-working.
