The Role
-You will be part of a small team working with an award-winning portfolio of wines and ciders, selling to a diverse range of customers. We are looking for someone experienced, commercial and connected.
-You will have the autonomy to develop long term relationships with key customers; regularly visiting clients face to face, from on trade independent businesses, through to wholesalers and specialist retailers.
-Generating new business through trade events and a network of industry leads.
-Building long term relationships with key accounts, involving participation in tasting events, trade shows and winery tours, where you will represent the brands and business with knowledge and professionalism.
-Contributing to decisions on the development of product ranges and product branding, in response to proven market demand and a good understanding of industry trends.
The role is field based, with a strong focus on London and the South East. Regular attendance at and contribution to monthly sales meetings at the winery in Herefordshire will form part of a monthly routine.
Responsibilities
- Delivering the companies budgeted sales targets.
- Understanding, and delivering the overall company objectives.
- Expanding the listings of all products in both the domestic market and abroad.
- Building sustainable trusting relationships with key accounts.
- Ensuing exceptional customer service in all aspects of the sale.
- Providing the Evolution team with regular feedback on sales performance and market opportunities.
- Conducting regular tours and tastings both on site and with customers.
- Conveying the business and brand stories to customers with energy and passion.
- Representing the company’s brands with utmost professionalism.
- Placing orders using EPR system (Navision)
- Regularly liaising with office administration and production to ensure orders are fulfilled and customer accounts are well managed.
