Retail Event Managers (1 x South East 1 x South West) (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Head Office based in Liverpool but roles bases in the South East and South West UK.

Main Purpose of role

This role is focused on the Halewood portfolio, to implement strategies to get the brands in front of the right audience with low investment for the highest return at Events. Support, develop and implement for a particular brand gaining visibility and understanding of all brands. Working to excellence in execution every time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery. covering all of the UK,
• From time to time this will include supporting the Scottish Event Manager, with Events and National large scale events for Head of Events, notified within a reasonable timeframe,
• Delivery of Events for Key Brands, completion of all administrative duties to deliver successful events,
• Supporting Head of Events with administration duties,
• Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
• Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
• Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
• Managing supplier relationships
• Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently supporting the Event team
• Providing motivation and support to your team,
• Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery
• Responsible for all Risk assessment and H & S on site including HACCP
• Keeping up to date with new legislation,
• To ensure we implement and enforce Challenge 21 / 25 have procedures in place to deter,
• Deliver eye catching agreed activations for key brands within agreed timescales and budgets delivering Excellence in Execution every time,
• In accordance with company policy contribute to the company’s social media activities for spirits across blogs, Facebook and official Twitter Instagram accounts.
• Completion of post evaluation reports, on a Monthly basis,
• To develop a detailed working knowledge of the portfolio and to develop a reputation for expertise in spirits within the team
• To implement training for All support staff, ensuring they are paid on time,
• Maintaining vehicles to high standards, as expected.

Person Specification

• Graduate-calibre candidates with a track record of success within the drinks or other premium goods sectors in marketing, sales Events or commercial capacity.
• A real passion, energy and knowledge for premium Spirits, the On Trade scene and wider drinks market.
• You will have strong interpersonal skills, be highly organised and have a strong attention to detail.
• Owning an England and Wales Personal licence.
• Full driving
