Main Purpose of role
We are looking for a Paralegal from an Insurance background to look after the day to day handling of claims handling and administration. Additional support will be required for day to day corporate/commercial.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to: -
- Assisting in the collation of insurance information
- Collating information for annual reviews
- On board any new subsidiaries with Broker
- Handling claims letters (chasing debts)
- Reviewing policies ensuring correct level of cover
- Assisting in managing the annual insurance renewals
- Single point of contact for the Group Insurance brokers
- Administration of Group insurance policies
- Managing / co-ordinating claims against all policies
- Ensure correct level of cover is in place for existing and new group business
- Highlight areas of Risk to be addressed by Broker and / or senior management
- Providing other paralegal support as required for Company Secretarial, NDA’s Product Promotion Agreements
Person Specification
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Insurance experience
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Ability to prioritise and plan work appropriately so that deadlines are met
- Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative

Salary: £18,000.00 to £22,000.00 /year
