HR Advisor (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We are looking for a HR Advisor with broad generalist experience to support our Sales (Free Trade North) and Leeds office including Customer Contact Centre, Finance and IT business units. You will work within a close-knit HR team, and focus on delivering key HR projects, alongside providing face-to-face and telephone-based advice and coaching to our Free Trade Sales management team and Customer Contact Centre in the North.  

Key areas of responsibility would also include: 

  • Working cross functionally providing support to HRBP’s and other HR Advisors as required
  • Proactive management of the people agenda, working with both the HRBP and the HR advisors to ensure delivery of the people plan
  • Advise, coach, influence and support the development of initiatives in order to establish/develop a culture of continuous improvement
  • Working closely with our Learning & Development, Talent & Engagement & Resourcing Specialists to ensure the development and assist in the delivery of training to line managers on people management initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will have a well-developed coaching style, delivered on the back of strong relationships with clients and colleagues. You will be tenacious in the resolution of any ER cases, and highly dependable, with a passion for customer service and high-quality outcomes. It is essential that you have strong generalist experience and significant experience of applying it pragmatically.  You will also be a strong team player, naturally collaborative and able to work flexibly with your HR Services colleagues and our wider team of HR specialists.

Knowledge & Experience 

• Recognised HR qualification is desirable e.g. degree, CIPD, LPC 
• Experience of working for a similarly-sized or larger commercial organisation 
• Proven experience of providing HR & ER advice in a fast paced and complex environment, a strong coach and ability to drive change management

Flexibility to travel will be required in this role
