SAP Master Data Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Kingsland Drinks is a well-established premier independent UK supplier of wine and spirits specialising in providing a complete category solution.

The core objective for this role is to drive improvements in the control and management of master data with a specific focus on the SAP ERP system. This in turn will drive improvements in business process including costing of goods, reporting, manufacturing efficiencies etc. To ensure all works orders have the correct BOM assigned to them. Working closely with the Finance master data Team, the MDC will provide support to the business to ensure accurate and efficient input of, and changes to, master data in SAP.

Role:

• Responsible for the timely and accurate creation and maintenance of master data in the SAP operating system from a Logistics perspective
• To monitor changes to bulk wine specifications and the associated packaging changes/ re-designs and ensure the correct Bill of materials (BOM) is assign to production orders.
• To collaborate/ contribute to the company Master Data team for any Logistics controlled parameters
• To create new BOMs and manage live versions within Logistics to ensure the correct spec is produced on line
• Attend both internal and external meetings when required to discuss requirements/ contribution from a BOM/ system perspective.
• Attend New Product Introduction meeting and any other project-based meetings when appropriate.
• Oversee range reviews and re-designs from a BOM and material run out perspective in collaboration with the Printed Packaging Co-ordinator
• Any other duties as required.

Skills required:

• Good excel skills
• Understanding of a manufacturing environment an advantage
• Experience of using an ERP system beneficial
• Experience of SAP beneficial
• Strong Team Player - work closely with other team members plus the wider group to ensure master data is accurate
• Ambitious - wants to develop a career in data governance and master data management.
• Influencing skills - able to influence the business to follow processes and see the value in data.
• Attention to detail –ability to concentrate on a process and follow it to the letter ensuring master data is changed in line with policy and procedure.
