SAP BASIS Administrator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

As a SAP BASIS Administrator you will report to the CIO. In this role you will support the SAP functional teams deal with the maintenance and installation of the SAP systems.

Role:

  • Supporting SAP Functional teams with good knowledge of integration between basis and functional models
  • Maintaining SAP systems
  • Maintenance, tuning, installation and patching of ABAP & JAVA NW7. x SAP systems:
  • ECC6, PI/PO, MII, SolMan, SCM & BO
  • Monitoring with and configuration of Solman 7.2
  • Implementation of support packs, support package stacks etc
  • System installation
  • Client copies
  • System copy-back/ refreshes
  • NWBC & SAP Logon configuration
  • End user support
  • Maintaining OSS support connections
  • Short dump and trace analysis and resolution
  • SAP licence admin
  • SAP audit compliance
  • Creation and maintenance of SAP "S" users
  • SUSE Linux administration for SAP usage
  • Backup & restore of SAP and databases
  • Change and transport system management and administration
  • Virtualised environments
  • Ability to create end user and technical documents

Skills required: (desirable)

  • Fiori Administration
  • Linux Clustering
  • MS AD administration
  • VEAM backup solutions
  • ITIL certification
  • SAP User and authorisation creation
