Are you an enthusiastic, commercial and forward thinking National Account Executive/ Account Manager with around 3 years + experience of working on UK Grocery accounts or National Off Trade Retailers in wine?  The role of National Account Manager will create and implement all aspects of sales generation into the Mass Retail Area with a particular focus on representing the supply of the parent companyReporting to the Head of Off Trade UK, as well as the senior management team. The role will be to champion the agenda of all wine supply into the UK from key partner wineries (which are FULLY owned by the parent company)This would extend to exploiting the vast resources they have to ensure the capture of own label and branded business into the UK market for any and all opportunity.

• Area of accountability no 1: Branded Sales into UK market of named French wineries
• Area of accountability no.2: Own Label and exclusive label sales
• Excellent verbal and written skills & digital know-how
• WSET qualifications an advantage but not a requirement
• Must be UK based and eligible to work
• Competency of French language will help – but NOT essential
• Frequent International travel is required subject to the Covid restrictions to enable full execution of all duties.

The role will be home based – but you would need to be in easy commuting distance of London to meet with key colleagues in the HQ of their other subsidiary business. The winning candidate will need a very positive and resilient approach to work, given that many of these brands and wineries will be new to the UK Off Trade!

There is a good amount of existing business already in play from the previous structure so there will be a job to do in maintaining those relationships but also the ability to grow new ones.

Base Salary range: £45k
