Based on a rural farm on the edge of the Hampshire/Berkshire border a fantastic opportunity has arisen at Vintage Roots Ltd-The Organic Wine People for a full-time Sales & Marketing Executive. The leading specialist in certified Organic & Biodynamic wines from around the world since 1986 and previous winner of the Drinks Business Green Retailer of the Year.

Key attributes for the role:

• Create and deliver regular customer marketing communications to all channels (print and media) highlighting wines, producers, special events.
• Sales order processing and customer service.
• General wine advice to both the Trade and Consumer.
• Creation & upkeep of grower profiles and a product specification database.
• Ability to build a rapport with customers and develop opportunities via email, on the phone, at trade events and through marketing communications.
• Along with the website manager keeping our website up to date with engaging content and technical information.
• Coordinate with trade and consumer press to support tastings, awards, PR and advertisements.
• Sales support to one of our field sales managers with sales or marketing related activities that help them achieve objectives for key customers or channels.
• Writing copy for and generating bespoke wine lists, tasting notes and point of sale material.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A good attention to detail and a proven creative writing flair.
• Previous experience or qualification in Wine Sales and Marketing.
• A recognised WSET qualification (preferably Diploma).
• You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Acrobat.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Mailchimp & WooCommerce would be a distinct advantage.
• An interest in ethical trading and the environment.
