Gusbourne is looking for a full time, Secondary Production Operative to join our team. The role will be based in our winery, and the employee would report to our Assistant Winemaker.
The ideal candidate will:
- Work hard within a small close-knit team.
- Have a good eye for detail.
- Be reliable, and punctual.
- Be mechanically minded, with some experience of working with machinery.
- Have a Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential).
- Be active, with a reasonable level of fitness.
- Have the ability to lift 25kg regularly.
The job will mainly consist of the following responsibilities:
- Manning our semi-automatic disgorging line.
- Manning our labelling line.
- Stacking, loading and unloading riddling cages and stillages.
- Packing up finished goods.
- Receival, and storage of goods into the winery.
- Ensuring work areas and machinery are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Occasionally assist with general tasks in the winery.
Own transport is essential, and we would request that the succesful candidate lives within a reasonable distance of the winery.
Previous experience in a winery is not required.
This position is a permanent, full-time role that will begin with a 3 month probationary period. Salary is competetive and available upon request. Please send your CV and covering letter through to [email protected].
