On Trade National Account Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Due to our Commercial Team expanding we have a new opportunity for an On Trade National Account Manager at Accolade Wines.

Salary up to £40,000 per annum dependent on experience plus excellent benefits, bonus and a staff wine allowance.

In this role

Supporting the Senior National Account Manager this role will achieve targeted new business volume and profit within the UK On Trade, in line with UK&I 3 year strategic plan, contributing to the success of the overall Region. You will manage, drive, and deliver your KPIs aligned to the targeting and bringing on board on New Business for AWL within the On Trade

Key accountabilities include

  • Work across On Trade to target AWL New Business Opportunities
  • Build first level target list and contact strategy along with SNAM
  • Actively work within existing customers and RTM partners to highlight and value potential new business
  • Be active in the field working with existing customers new business teams
  • Manage time and resources to achieve objectives for this role as aligned with SNAM
  • Achieve New Business KPIs as agreed with Sales Director
  • On-Board any new business in year 1 as dedicated NAM, before delivering to On Trade Sales Team
  • Attend and present at quarterly internal business reviews

Other accountabilities include

  • Assist in building any new business proposals, quantifying commercials, required investment, and resources
  • Work Cross-functionally internally to secure and deploy required resources in order to Win
  • Support RTM customer tenders for new business

Essential knowledge and skills are

Functional

  • Strong and proven negotiation skills
  • Strong sales skills, and understanding of On Trade Drinks landscape
  • Commercial acumen, developed either within On Trade or Off Trade FMCG environment
  • Ability to analyse data to build a target plan of opportunities
  • Ability to build network and contact opportunities

Behavioural

  • Strong interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to foster strong customer working relationships
  • Willingness to network and gain intimate knowledge of the customer
  • Team player, track record of success through and with others (Internal and External)
  • Accountable for own actions, and performance

Required experience is

Min. 3 years sales experience to at least Key Account Manager level, with demonstrable track record of achievement and willingness to take on extra responsibility
