We have an opportunity for a Senior National Account Manager to join our  National Sales Team. This position is field based and the successful applicant would need have good access to  the North of England, London and the Midlands.

About the role - Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the sector defined volume and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain commercial contact with defined senior key contacts alongside the Sales Directors.
  • Identify and exploit all sales opportunities relevant to the sector including .com etc.
  • Input into the Commercial Plan and monitor & manage the channel volume, budget and profitability & sustainability of the business over agreed timeframe.
  • Work to improve cash flow across sector in conjunction with Finance colleagues.
  • Communicate and represent trends within the channel to all internal functions.
  • Set individual and team objectives in line with organizational and divisional targets & priorities.
  • Identify development needs of team members and ensure appropriate & timely mechanisms are in place to satisfy these needs. Coach and continuously review providing feedback as appropriate

About you

  • With a proven track record of delivering against stretching targets, you will have 5+ years commercial sales or commercial buying experience  with a minimum of 2 years demonstrable  in grocery  and/or the convenience impulse sectors .
  • Ideally you will have experience of working within the drinks industry working within a large FMCG business.
  • You will need prior experience of managing teams or commercial leadership experience
  • Historic management of Ocado and Amazon  accounts as a SNAM would be a bonus
  • You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel nationally to customer sites and Accolade wine offices in Weybridge and Bristol as required.
