Our purpose is provide those people with theplatform to manage their business operations as efficiently as possible and upon which their business potential can be fully realised, which we do through industry specific frameworks and data, multichannel and market connectivity.
Responsibilities
Take responsibility for global sales of the Wine Hub (for retailers/ merchants/ importers), add-ons including for example the Hub Webshop, and Wine Keep (for warehouse/ storage operators).
Seven figure sales figure comprised of your personal target and all other sales generated through team members.
Build sales through implementing effective sales strategy and a well-honed, consultative selling approach, with the goal of doubling sales over the next year or so based on the current trajectory.
Qualifications
You will have a clear perspective of the wine and spirits market, ideally in more than one jurisdiction, and have a strong interest in the market, subject matter and market business challenges and opportunities.
You will additionally have a background in software sales, selling a SaaS business platform, business or market consulting. Alternatively you will be able to demonstrate strong sales effectiveness in another market where you were deeply engaged in understanding the operation of that market and the needs of business operators within it, for the purposes of aligning your SaaS/ business solution to the needs of different segments within the market.
You will have a minimum of 3 years sales experience within the mix.
The role requires the critical thinking that a graduate with excellent qualifications will have gained.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
You will be a true team player, and a natural leader rather than a manager. You will believe on collaboration rather than direction, mentoring rather than management. You will care deeply about personal development: your own and of all those around you.
You will have had experience working closely within an organisation with heads of marketing, product managers, software developers and CTOs.
You will be highly numerate, strong at regular reporting against your KPIs, transparent in your dealings with colleagues, calm and confident.
