ECommerce & Web Assistant (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

This is an exciting time in Valvona & Crolla as we are in the process of launching our upgraded and newly designed web site, www.valvonacrolla.co.uk

This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic person wishing to learn and gain practical experience within a small but growing team in our ECommerce department. The successful applicant  will be someone who can quickly learn and adapt to carrying out the necessary tasks and help the administrator within this part of the business, to include as a minimum, the following:

• Good all round, up-to-date IT skills are required and a general knowledge of web technologies, along with experience of the MS office suite.
• Good written English essential for social media, web copy-writing to update, adding and maintaining products on our website, which includes product photography and editing skills, also responding timeously to customer queries from our website, via email and telephone.
• Customer order processing and fulfilment within our Despatch department.
• Familiar with social media and current trends.
• Marketing and product signage, along with customer email shots.
• The successful applicant will be able to deliver excellent customer service and be a conscientious member of a busy environment.

A knowledge or interest in food & wine and a current driving licence is not necessary but would be an advantage.
