Off The Line is an innovative award-winning boutique producer of English wines with a distinct ethos based in East Sussex. Having experienced increased interest in our wines and seen wine tourism grow enormously in the last two years we are looking to enhance our sales and visitor operations.
This new role will involve growing trade sales and revenue from our online shop, cellar door, tours and tastings and events. You will be an ambassador for Off The Line and a key outward facing member of our team.
This is a full-time role (job share will be considered) and you will be expected to work some weekends with occasional evening work.
Duties to include:
- Responsibility for executing the marketing plan
- Working with existing and new trade customers
- Developing the cellar door and tours and tastings
- Developing and managing the wine club
- Running campaigns on social media
- Organising and managing the tasting room
- Conducting tours and tastings
- Organising wine deliveries and despatches for online orders
- Responsibility to ensure all public areas are clean and ready for customers
- Planning and managing events
- Responding to customer queries by email and on the telephone
- Occasionally assisting with vineyard and winery work
You should have a good knowledge of wine (educated to WSET Level 2 or above), be a keen and enthusiastic salesperson, enjoy engaging with people and be eager to play a key part in growing our business. Experience in hospitality or a similar role is desirable.
Pay will be commensurate with experience
