We have a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career in wine and join a dynamic food and wine focused team as well as an award-winning independent retailer. Bottle Apostle is currently looking for full-time staff to join our team.
We have a small, eclectic list of approximately 700 wines with a special focus on Italy, Austria, Portugal and USA. In addition to our selection, we have a busy calendar of public and private tutored events.
We are in search of an enthusiastic new staff member, ideally with experience in wine retail, to work in our shop in London E9. Successful candidates will be passionate about wine and keen to learn more. They will be hard-working, friendly and approachable with customers and have a background in sales.
Key Requirements:
- Previous wine retail experience
- Must be enthusiastic, customer-service driven and hard-working
- Must be organised, detail-oriented and proactive
- Available to work weekends and other unsociable hours
- Passionate about food and wine
- Excellent communication and written English skills
- Works well within a team and self-motivated
- Must be able to lift 20kg
- Eligible to work in the UK
