The English wine industry has seen rapid growth in the last ten years with an increase in production of both sparkling and still wine. Denbies Wine Estate is at the forefront of that expansion as English wine continues to grow into both domestic and international markets.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Wine Production Supervisor to join our winery team.
The role would focus on the final processes in producing bottles of sparkling and still wine, stock control and supervising the production team.
Working to targets, the role would offer the right candidate an opportunity to advance in a dynamic and relatively new English industry.
Requirements
· A proven track record in goods production.
· The ability to supervise a small team.
· The capability to manage and control stock.
· A keen eye for detail in producing a premium product.
Desirables
· An interest in wine production.
· A valid forklift truck licence.
This is a Full-Time permanent role working 5 days out of 7, including occasional evenings and weekends as and when required.
You will also be required to work longer hours during the Harvest Season which is between September and November.
Start date: as soon as possible.
Salary negotiable depending on experience
