Vintage winery workers at Ridgeview Wine Estate
We are now inviting applications to help with our harvest in England this year.
Ridgeview is a family owned & run winery, based in the South Downs National Park in Sussex. We make English Sparkling Wine, using the traditional method and were recently awarded the IWSC trophy for International Winemaker of the Year!
What the job involves:
* Grape receipt procedures – weighing & recording
* Loading presses by hand
* Unloading presses & grape waste removal
* Washing grape crates
* Stacking crates & pallets ready for collection
* End of the day clean down procedures
* Other production duties (training provided)
Details of the job:
* Around 4 weeks work from 4th week of September (grape ripening dependent of course)
* You must be able to lift a crate & grapes to max of 25kg
* One hot meal provided per shift
* Shift patterns will vary & flexibility needed
* Provide your own steel toe-cap boots but we will provide all other PPE.
