Play an essential role in Digby’s Brand
Brand building is at the centre of everything we do at Digby Fine English. We are seeking a new member of our ambitious team to continue building the success Digby, by helping to deliver world-class engagement with our customers. The role offers a unique opportunity to bring your own personal touch to the growth of the Digby brand.
Responsibilities
As Digby’s Assistant Hospitality & Marketing Manager, you will:
Hospitality
- Tasting Room Hospitality
- To be deputy to the Tasting Room Manager
- Assist with hospitality on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
- Take proactive role in hospitality during special events
- Help with pairing plates food preparation
- Cover Tasting Room when Tasting Room Manager is absent
- Help with Tasting Room operations, restocking, customer service, etc.
Marketing
- Forge our brand development through social media
- Help with execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Take an active role in our events
Winery operations
- Possible for interested candidates to take part in occasional winery processing operations
Key Skills
- Passion for customer experience and product quality
- An eye for detail – it’s the little things that make the difference
- Prior hospitality experience helpful but not required
- Team player mentality, with flexibility and willingness to take initiative and pitch in
- Willingness to learn on the job
- Keen interest in social media and communications
- Clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred
- Wine industry experience helpful but not required
Working Hours Permanent, full-time role
- Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 – 5:30, with half an hour for lunch
- Friday and Saturday, exact timings TBC but here are examples of ‘early’ or ‘late’ shift
- Early shift: 10:30 – 19:00, with half hour break
- Late shift: 12:30 – 21:00, with half hour break
- Note: Digby would consider part-time applicants for this role
Location This role is based in Digby’s luxurious headquarters and Tasting Room in Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9AJ
