The Champagne Company is a Champagne online retailer of premium champagnes, wines and spirits online. The Champagne Company is the leading UK Independent retailer of several large Champagne brands as well as the only Krug Ambassade Online retailer in the world.
This position will be based at our offices in Birmingham. As the first point of contact representing the Company, a great Customer Service welcome, manner and clear voice is essential. Within this role you will be answering the phone, speaking directly with customers who are calling to place an order of a product/s from the website, processing orders fully to completion and being part of friendly Online Team. We are looking for career applicants.
You will also contribute to systems giving effective customer communication, access product stock management, manage order processing and relationships with couriers. You will also be involved in aspects of website content updating to align with seasons and the latest products.
• Previous experience in a customer service role using written as well as telephone communication channels.
• Excellent levels of customer service. Clear and well spoken and great telephone manner. Ability to work effectively with a variety of customers.
• Previous experience in a wine/drinks environment.
• Previous experience with customer CRM tools, and ecommerce order processing systems an advantage
• Previous experience in a wine & drinks environment essential / WSET Level 2 preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, time keeping, IT and reporting Skills.
• Supportive - team player demonstrating loyalty and commitment to colleagues.
10 minute walk from Birmingham Snow Hill or New Street Station with bus stop and free parking on site.
