Role Details

  • To support the Packaging Development Managers in providing a specialist resource for the commercial and operations functions, that delivers Accolade a competitive advantage by positioning our packaging at the forefront of the market through proactive approach to use of packaging innovation.
  • Continually review and improve formats to build differentiation and a hierarchy of packaging into our portfolio, whilst developing new product formats in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner ensuring that quality and the customers’ needs are met.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Artwork available at the point of order
  • Master Data accuracy
  • On time NPD/EPD delivery
  • Shop floor packet accuracy
  • Right first time artwork approval
  • SKU setup (Briefing documents, Master Data Management, Barcode management)
  • Provide and facilitate links between Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Services and Production
  • Provide operations with technical support in order to ensure that the material specifications are fit-for-purpose, both in terms of production line compatibility, quality and trade performance

Other Accountabilities Include

  • Coordinate project management (Costs, timings and communication)
  • Coordinate artwork management (Flowmation, Artwork briefs and approval)
  • Coordinate continuous improvement (OEE, Innovation and Value Engineering)
  • Coordinate material trials (Stakeholder management and material validation)
  • Coordinate development of the departmental quality and environmental management systems and to promote quality awareness across the business

Your Knowledge and Skills

  • MRP (preferably JDE)
  • Extensive reprographic and artwork management experience
  • Strong Value engineering principles

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong customer focus and service
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Drive and ambition to continually improve

Physical and Other Requirements

  • GCSE Maths
  • GCSE English
  • A-Level equivalent
