Materials Planning Administrator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

This position is a 6 month fixed term contract.

About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Materials Planning Administrator to join our Planning Team at our Accolade Park site close to the M5 near Bristol.  You will support the Materials Planners in delivering dry goods on time, in full (OTIF), ensuring supply to the manufacturing plan and minimising risk.  Assisting master data tasks that ensure the MRP system reflects agreed quantities and dates so that orders can be processed on receipt. You will have the chance to learn about the wine industry within the UK’s Number 1 Wine Company, where you can gain WSET qualifications!

About the role – Key Accountabilities 

  • Maintain minimum and multiple order quantities within JDE.
  • Checking open purchase order reports versus request date.
  • Update and maintain new and existing component system data.
  • Daily quarantine release activities
  • Checking daily error logs and taking action to correct
  • Review booking in times within C3 and amending as required
  • Review and set appropriate replenishment techniques to support SKUs and interfaces with daily MRP plans.
  • Ensure sufficient materials are available for call-off in accordance with the latest production schedule.

About you

  • You will be highly computer literate and ideally have demonstrable experience working with MRP systems.
  • You will also need a basic level knowledge of supplier management.
