About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Head of Business Development to join our Operations Team at our Accolade Park site close to the M5 near Bristol. In this role you will own and drive the agenda for maximising existing relationships and bringing new business opportunities for Contract Packing and 3PL to Accolade Park.

About the role – Key Accountabilities
- Proactively identify & engage with new target business opportunities for A Park. Manage the tender process and create action plans for converting these into new revenue generating streams. Negotiate and agree on terms of business with customers and establish new ways of working to ensure mutual agreement and gain.
- Full management of the Contract Pack/3PL P&L ensuring that financial targets are achieved.
- Ensures contract packaging complements the site and branded strategic direction.
- Host and showcase A Park to visitors ensuring a first class experience is delivered.
- Raise the profile of A Park within the Contract Packing & 3PL market through the creation of a USP and appropriate sales approach/materials.
- Drives self and team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Responds to and acts quickly upon new opportunities as and when they present themselves.
- Developing and broadening relationships with existing customers while identifying and qualifying opportunities to maximise all opportunities.
- Builds and maintains a record of up & coming tenders over 3-4 year horizon.
- Build cost models for new opportunities and maintain on-going cost structures as part of any contracts gained.
- Responsible for managing, coaching and developing the Business Development team to achieve business, team and personal objectives.
- Driving the team to a continuous improvement mind set and developing and simplifying processes.

Required experience is:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally within drinks industry
- Current knowledge of the Contract Pack Market
- People Management experience essential
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent education
You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to our Weybridge site if required.
