Customer Relationship Manager - Contract Pack

About the role and location

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Customer Relationship Manager to join our Customer Services team  at The Park site close to the M5 near Bristol.


This is a 6 month fixed term contract. 

About the role - Key Accountabilities

Reporting to the Head of Customer Services  , this position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

  • 1-2-1 contact with Customer Supply Chain – Continuity of approach – Ownership – real time data – removing surprises
  • Supplier to customer excellence - Consistence of approach – Insight to Customer ways of working – Aligning cultures
  • Joint working on Innovations
  • Working with Customer Service Manager and relative Demand Planner to optimise service levels and ongoing logistical solutions/optimisation for key assigned customers
  • In conjunction with Customer Service and Warehouse & Distribution teams provide Supply Chain and Planning support and contact for assigned customers - daily, weekly and monthly interaction
  • Evaluation of customer EPOS, stock and availability data on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy and stability of demand plan
  • Feedback, recommendations and solutions both internal and external with regards to service levels, on shelf availability, and depot availability in order to optimise sales and overall availability
  •  Monthly documented review for key customers
  • Involvement in building a collaborative demand plan which is subsequently signed off with Commercial Team in line with the monthly S&OP process
  • Weekly reporting on EPOS, stock and availability data for key customers
  • Monthly (or as agreed) meetings with key customer contacts to review and agree signed off promotional activity, service levels, availability (depot and on shelf)
  • Evaluation of promotional activity and compliance to promotional calendar
  • Day to day responsibility for the Supply Chain  Service Level Agreements with assigned customers
  • Co-ordinate on going strategic discussions with regards to Supply Chain solutions for assigned customers

About you

You will be able to demonstrate experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Customer Collaboration preferably in a FMCG / Retail environment. 
You will have experience of logistics and supplier ordering systems.
You will be an excellent communicator, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs.

You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel between the Bristol and Weybridge sites, if required.
