Bulk Wine Freight Analyst

About the role and location

We have an opportunity for a Bulk Wine Freight Analyst to join our Operations team on a 12 month fixed term basis at The Park site close to the M5 near Bristol, with free parking on site.

About the role - Key Accountabilities

Reporting to the Bulk Freight & 3PL Manager,  the Bulk Freight Analyst will be primarily responsible for all aspects of data collection, the analysis and reporting in relation to Bulk Freight movements and costs.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure key metrics are accurately recorded and compile reports that are presented to internal management with suggestions to drive action and improve process and reduce costs. Your analysis will highlight potential for change and drive greater efficiencies across the supply chain.

  • Using Excel to build complex trackers and create reporting / executive summaries
  • Monitor, analyse and report on trends
  • Review data accuracy
  • Identification of reporting gaps and implementation of new methodology and tools
  • Understanding and resolving data inconsistencies and variances 

About you

You are able to thrive as part of a team in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You have a strong Excel ability and experience of JDE or a similar ERP system would be beneficial.  Experience within a freight / logistics environment would be an advantage. 

You will be qualified to  degree level or equivalent.

You will have the flexibility to work out of office hours to accommodate the occasional call with our Australian colleagues and have the ability to travel to our office in Weybridge,  if required.
