Salary: Full Time, starting salary £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (DOE)

A rarely available opportunity to work on a Wine Estate based in Sussex.
About Us:
We have a great opportunity to join our team as a warehouse operative and manager at this family run Vineyard in the heart of West Sussex.
Your Role:
To carry out effective and efficient management of the warehouse including stock control, picking and packing deliveries.
Assisting in some day to day cellar hand duties; including bottling and labelling wine.
Also to assist with delivery, receipt and handling of grapes at harvest (October).
The warehouse manager position requires a hard-working, self-starting, motivated individual with an extremely high level of attention to detail. This role requires a lot of working individually as you will not have a team to manage.
*Required Experience:
*1. Understanding and following the goods receiving, picking, packing and shipping procedures.
2. Driving a counter balance forklift truck to move goods in and out. Not essential as training can be given.
3. Carrying out monthly and weekly stock taking of wine and consumables
4. Working in line with Health and Safety requirements
5. Putting stock away in the correct location, keeping warehouse ordered and tidy and be responsible for correct labelling of stored stock.
6. To assist with bottling of wine when required.
7. To set up and operate the labelling machine in order to label wine for Bolney Wine and contract customers when required.
8. To keep an accurate record of wine and other stock entering and leaving the warehouse for Bolney Wine Estate and contract customers.
9. To assist as required at harvest time (please note this will involve a change in working hours and extended working hours, including part weekends, during part of September and October).
10. Assist Financial Manager with ensuring reports and administration requirements are promptly submitted.
11. Attend meetings as and when required.
12. To maintain the warehouse to the highest standards, keeping the area tidy clean and safe. Maintaining the outside site keeping it clean and tidy.
13. Training can/will be given on any of the above areas to the right applicant.
14. To take responsibility for own role and a high standard of attention to detail
