The Drinks Emporium is a wines and spirits shop based in Birmingham.
This position will be based at our offices and shop in Birmingham. As the first point of contact representing the Company, we are looking for someone who can a great Customer Service manner and clear voice is essential. Within this role you will be answering the phone, diverting calls to other members of the team, speaking directly with customers who are calling about product/s from the website, assist customers placing orders, manage courier enquiries, learn to process orders fully to completion and be part of the Customer Service Team.
• Previous experience in a customer service retail role with experience front facing as well as telephone / online channels.
• Excellent levels of customer service. Clear and well spoken, friendly and approachable telephone manner.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of customers both in the shop and over the phone.
• Enthusiastic and capable of problem solving.
• Previous experience in a wine/drinks environment.
• Previous experience with customer CRM tools, and ecommerce order processing systems an advantage
• Previous experience in a wine & drinks environment essential / WSET Level 2 preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, time keeping, IT and reporting Skills.
• Retail Experience preferred.
• Flexible to work additional hours required for the successful completion of tasks at peak periods such as pre-Christmas.
10 minute walk from Birmingham Snow Hill or New Street Station with bus stop and free parking on site.
