FromVineyardsDirect is an online retailer, specialising in B2C private wine sales. We offer a small range of delicious drinking wines, principally from France, Italy and Spain, imported direct from the growers at prices well below traditional merchants.

Daily Responsibilities:

Management of internal databases tracking and managing en primeur orders, and any orders for pre-shipment wines.

Raising Purchase Orders, ensuring the payment of priority shipments and keeping team aware of most up-to-date incoming stock arrival information.

Liaison with UK and overseas suppliers and shippers to organise timely delivery of wines into the warehouse.

Providing warehouse team with required customs and shipment information to enable products to be landed correctly; subsequent co-ordination of product profiles throughout in-house software chain.

Creation of new customer, en primeur campaign and product profiles; ongoing maintenance of product and stock information on Vision Commerce and Magento e-commerce software.

Organisation of movement of stock to and from customer private reserves and other UK bonded warehouses

Production of weekly stock reports for both the buying and marketing teams

Liaison with both warehouse team and courier to ensure accurate production of daily manifest

Management of all customer private reserves

Alerting team when stock levels fall low in warehouse

Management of all en primeur allocations, orders and arrivals into the warehouse

Experience in a customer facing role

Interest in wine, with WSET Level 2 or above preferred, but not required
The Role:
This role will start with a 3-month probation period, with the opportunity for a permanent position once complete. This three month probation period will include a one month trial. Full training will be provided.
