On Trade & Independents National Account Manager - South (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

The Group Les Grands Chais de France, #1 French Winemaker (exc Co-operatives), owner of 3,300ha across 60+ of its Domaines and Chateau’s and exporter of 75% of its wines and spirits are looking once again to expand.

The UK On Trade & Independent Merchant team are looking to strengthen their numbers by recruiting a Southern based NAM, responsible for the Strategic development of its RTM within the South (inc. London) with a strong focus on their wholly owned Chateau's and Domaines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage existing key accounts and support their activities relevant for the development of our chateau and domains within the On Trade & Independent Sector

• Work with existing & new key wholesale accounts as well as developing the business for the growing Independent sector, the successful candidate will network owners and managers in order to find the right RTM for our wines.

• Analysis and a comprehensive understanding of the competitive set with the ability to gap fill will also be key skills.

• Ability to build qualitative and long-term relations with your customers

• Strong wine background with an excellent comprehension of France
• Passionate individual who can establish the USP of the portfolio
• Strong relationship management and entrepreneurial nature
• Trade marketing skills with ability to set up events and tastings
• Excellent knowledge of the London & South On Trade wholesaler network
• Proven expertise in interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Benchmark / competitive analysis / analysis of data
• Comfortable with IT tools particularly the Google business suite
• Organisation and execution of distributor trips to the vineyard including tasting and training along with the team at the property
• Knowledge of wine production at all steps from vineyard to market
