We're hiring passionate and energetic individuals for our new Wine Bar opening in Elephant and Castle, selling very unique wines and incredible coffee with a strong service focus. A social, outgoing, and people focused individual is a must! Big growth and learning prospects within a new and growing brand.

Starting date October 30th.

Junior Sommeliers - Would require a sound base knowledge of global wines, versatile and confident with describing and serving wines, and a proud representative of a new against the grain brand. (WSET Level 2/3 is a bonus)

Baristas- Consistent and confident coffee making skills and pattern making necessary. An interest and knowledge in wine would be a definite plus.

Experience in fine dining would be helpful, however personalities come before experience.

Job Requirements:

- Running a floor section

- Serving / decanting wine and drinks

- Coffee making for drink in and takeaway

- Prepping small cold plates for eat in diners

- Taking PDQ Payments

- Preparing Mis en Place for daily setup and breakdown at the end of night

- Greeting guests and taking orders at the table

- Receiving deliveries and stock taking

- Assisting with in-store events and tastings

- Cashing up procedures

- Long term duties cover involvement in rota making, ordering, training

- Strong English – spoken & written

Hourly rate: £9 p/h plus Tronc
