The original Oxford Wine Company was founded in 1840 and traded from 125, High Street, Oxford until 1914. The name was revived in the early 1990s by Ted Sandbach, metamorphosing from "The Oxford Hamper Company" through "The Oxford Wine And Hamper Company" and finally "The Oxford Wine Company" in the Spring of 1992. The company has a large warehouse which is open to the public for case or single bottle purchases and has recently expanded to open two satellite branches. In addition the company operates a thriving wholesale business in the Thames Valley Corridor, although wine can be delivered throughout the UK.
We know you value local food suppliers for their high quality produce and first-class service. The Oxford Wine Company is your local wine supplier but it does not yet supply your establishment with its wines. We have an outstanding range of wines, a highly responsive logistics capability and a passion for proper customer service. Energetic people with good local knowledge required to work on a full or part time basis out of our Witney head office.
You must be presentable hold a clean driving license and be over 25, an interest in wine is a bonus.
