We have a vacancy for a Grocery Executive to join our friendly Sales Team at our UK Headquarters in Weybridge. This role is to provide administrative support to our busy UK sales team and to inform and aid decisions at key reviews and meetings.

About the role
This is not your usual administrative role, it’s not just about administrative tasks you’ll have the opportunity to build good relationships with our key client contacts who are well known household names (Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose to name a few). You will have full autonomy in this position with the ability to shape the role and you’ll be encouraged to evolve / improve our processes. You’ll work closely with our Channel Sales Director and Account Manager’s and gain a great insight to our business.
. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting our sales team in meeting their plans for the year through the provision of accurate and timely administrative support
- Compiling internal reports for the wider sales team to inform and aid key decisions
- Providing positive interaction via phone and e mail with key client contacts
- Supporting the wider team in their delivery of sales, margin and distribution targets
- Providing accurate forecasts and effective communication to deliver Sales & Operation Planning targets
- Working with Marketing Managers to ensure the administration of brand plans are applied
- Managing promotional activity under guidance , owning the planning, delivery and post evaluation of promotions and recommending any improvements
- Assisting the finance team in resolving outstanding credit and debit queries
- Developing expertise in account reporting systems
- Proactively developing skills and knowledge to maximise potential and contribution
About you
It’s important that you enjoy administrative tasks in a busy environment. You’ll have an administrative background and be confident with MS Word and Excel. You’ll have great communication skills and enjoy dealing with colleagues internally, supporting and challenging them. You will also relish the opportunity to build great working relationships with our key client contacts.
You’ll be highly organised with great prioritisation and planning skills. You’ll have a restless curiosity and not be afraid to challenge the status quo or look for a better way to do things. You’ll work cross functionally with colleagues in our business from Sales to Finance and won’t be afraid to take on extra developmental tasks.
