What you'll be doing

We offer a fantastic range of places to eat and drink, and as wine waiter you’ll be making sure that our service delivery makes each of our customers feel special - so no lengthy standards or checklists for us, we treat each customer as an individual and make sure they leave looking forward to their next visit.

What you'll need

  • To have a great outgoing personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
  • To be a team player and enjoy the buzz of being busy
  • To be smart and well presented
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • To be flexible to work hours in line with business needs.

Additionally you will need to:

  • Selecting wines and beverages and pairing them to the food menu.
  • Making sure other waiting staff understand the wine list.
  • Advising customers on the best choice of wine for their meal.
  • Serving drinks at the correct temperature and in the correct manner.
  • Ordering, controlling and rotating stock.
  • Liaising with sales people and dealing with deliveries.
  • Managing the bar area.
  • Preparing customers' bills.
  • Assisting with other front-of-house tasks such as operating tills and tidying up.
  • Lay tables and prepare equipment for use.
  • Clean glassware and other equipment such as trolleys, decanters, ice buckets, coasters and bottle holders.
