Planning Analyst (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Several members of the Supply Chain have made the transition from Retail to the Support Centre and their understanding of our products, our promotional campaigns and the store environment is a big advantage and enables them to hit the ground running once they have been trained in how to do their jobs.

This role will support the Planning Manager and will contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of capacity plans for the Majestic store network. In addition you will support the Supply Chain function in data analysis and action orientated reporting requirements after a thorough training programme.

Responsibilities:
• Collate accurate volume plans including the incorporation of any known business initiatives
• Translate buying and sales forecasts into plans that work within available capacities
• Proactively monitor and review both forecasts & actual stockholding to identify any potential supply chain capacity risks before they occur
• Work with the Supply Chain group to define and provide an efficient data service and action orientated information that saves time.

KPIs:
• Planning accuracy particularly with promotional planning, e.g. Flyers
• Capacity planning, ensuring the Distributions Centre is proactively protected from capacity breaches.
• Work to achieve alignment with company stock budgets
• Work within Supply Chain operating costs.
