The Group Data & Analytics team has been created to architect, build and deploy a Group Data Warehouse & BI Platform to store and manage all historical and current data sets from all sources. The linking of key current & legacy datasets is critical. The management of data accuracy is also a core requirement.
The ability to view and report most business information against historical data is also a requirement. Each of the teams across the 11 trading companies is accountable for different metrics. At Conviviality we want to develop a data-driven culture; so the Group Data & Analytics team need to surface dashboards with data that will help make the right decisions on a daily basis and inform regular departmental reviews.
We have an exciting opportunity for a bright, energetic, driven person to join our Group Data & Analytics team as a Data & Analytics Account Manager (DAAM). As a DAAM you will help deliver a Group wide project connecting all colleagues across Conviviality, with the data to make the right decisions for our business. You will work with your colleagues in the Group Data & Analytics team to build a network of Power BI users, working with them to understand and align key metrics, setting up automated reporting to help drive the right behaviours across our 11 trading companies.
Accountabilities
- Create and implement dashboard interfaces using Microsoft PowerBI/Power Pivot software
- Maintain systems, procedures and policies needed to ensure dashboards and their feeds are up-to-date and relevant
- Hold presentations to demonstrate results to teams across the group
- Maintain and review currently active reporting
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Experience in a business facing role, working with all levels including senior managers
- Strong experience working with data either as an analyst, data manager or equivalent
- Experience with building reports, implementing quality control checks and processes
Preferred:
- Experience using different ERP systems and B.I. software
- Knowledge of business & technology with a working understanding of data warehousing and data structures
- Degree level qualification in a numerical/logical field such as Applied Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Economics.
Key Competencies:
- A track record of delivering projects to tight deadlines
- Hands-on experience with data and business requirements gathering/analysis
- Excellent communication skills
- A solid understanding of and interest in data; and its impact on profitable decision-making
- A strong interest in a future in Business Intelligence, Data & Analytics
- An ability and interest in managing cross-functional projects
- A working understanding of relational databases
