Supply Chain Planner (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

We are looking for a detail oriented, expert multi-tasker with a passion for Excel spreadsheets as our next Supply Chain Planner.  You will be joining a successful Twickenham based team with some excellent professional development opportunities ahead. The Supply Chain Planner plays an integral part in Supply Chain, ensuring products are manufactured in a cost-effective way and finished goods distributed to customers in a timely fashion

What will you do as Supply Chain Planner? 

  • Manage the production planning process for TWE locally produced sku’s. 

  • Plan and manage bulk wine orders and liaise with Contract Packer to coordinate production schedules.

  • Liaise with Commercial Teams & Supply in the UK and the Nordics regarding availability, low & out of stocks & queries.

  • Support the scheduling and delivery of NPD activity within the region by ensuring bulk wine availability and production space to support NPD projects and post launch transition to on-going business.

  • Help maintain accurate and current inventory records for all stock held at outside suppliers. Investigate any differences and highlight issues as they occur and reconcile variances as part of the month end processes.
  • Provide weekly visibility to Contract Packer of 13 week plan and performance reports to assist in ensuring production capacity is available
  • Support the Contract Pack Manager in ensuring that the 3rd party Contract Packer is meeting all quality, cost, service and contractual requirements.

  • Responsible for the replenishment & delivery of Bag In Boxes (BIB’s) to the various Nordic warehouses targeting 100% availability in the Nordics as well as availability to meet forecast demand for retail customers.

  • Balance demand requirements of BiBs across monopoly customers and Continental European retail direct shipment customers.

  • Report on shelf life risks of 3L BIBs in the Nordic warehouses to ensure that write off costs are minimised and target stock availability is maintained.

To be our Supply Chain Planner you will have:

  • Degree level qualification in Supply Chain preferred

  • Excellent proficiency in Excel

  • Strong analytical skills and highly numerate.

  • Experience in supply chain planning within an FMCG environment.

  • Good organizational & communication skills
