Individual Purpose:
• To grow sales and develop a profitable and compelling online shop offer for Adnams where customers can buy Adnams Beers, Spirits, Wine and Merchandise
• To ensure an excellent customer experience for online customers
Responsibilities:
• Sales: Define and deliver a sales promotional plan (which reflects the Adnams Brand values and corporate marketing plan).
• Stock control: Product management and forecasting- updating and maintaining product listings with imagery and descriptions and ensuring good stock control.
• Marketing: Updating brand and product information on third party websites including Facebook, Twitter, Google, Trip Advisor
• Work with affiliates to grow sales
• Manage PPC/ SEO campaigns and other digital marketing campaigns
• Ensure integration with the physical retail store campaigns and activity and instore technology
• Operations: Ensure the site performance is optimised (e.g. checkout funnels/ speed/ navigation)
• Work with supply chain to deliver the best customer experience for delivery & packaging
• Using Google analytics and SessionCam to understand customer behaviour and report performance and enhance conversion rates
• Monitoring performance vs budgets and costs and adjusting plans accordingly
Knowledge & Experience
• Experience of managing a direct to consumer ecommerce platform- ideally within FMCG/Alcohol/ consumer goods
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills – experience of Google Analytics
• Commercial accountability and budget management
• Knowledge of SEO/ PPC
