The Job:
In this role you will be part of the Goods Inwards team responsible for unloading and inspecting incoming raw materials and packaging and providing a service to the MI Production teams.
Principle Responsibilities:
Unloading and inspection of incoming raw material and packaging deliveries
Transfer of pallets, packaging and raw materials to production areas.
Appropriate use and storage of all work equipment, raw materials and packaging
To follow all company GMP, hygiene, environmental, H&S and personnel policies and rules
To work flexibly to respond to the changing demands of the job, adapting to new work routines and practices accordingly
The Candidate:
Self motivated and enthusiastic
Competent counterbalance forklift driver
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
Possess a full driving licence, as will be expected to use site shunter and trailer (full training will be provided)
Ability to operate within food hygiene and safety standards
Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role
Excellent housekeeping and warehouse husbandry skills
Hours of Work:
Day shift - Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm. This position is temporary until 31/12/17
Rate of Pay:
Starting Rate: £7.43 per hour. Full Rate: £9.29 per hour
