The Job:

We have an opportunity at our Stowmarket site for an apprentice engineer / electrician to join our Engineering Team.  The period of the apprenticeship is four years and will involve training in all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering leading to a complete multi-skilled engineering qualification.  Training will involve a mixture of attendance at college and hands on training on site. 

Principle Responsibilities:  You will

Under the direct supervision of an engineering management appointed representative support and assist with the following activities:

• Provide a dynamic and proactive response to engineering breakdowns.
• Carry out plant modifications, small projects, installations and improvements as required.
• Respond to breakdowns.
• Assist in all aspects of maintenance work associated with plant shutdowns.
• To assist project teams as required.
• Maintain correct health and safety standards at all times, following company policies and procedures and taking a responsible and proactive approach to safety at all times.
