We are looking for a trustworthy wine enthusiast with sales experience to join our team at Mr & Mrs Fine Wine.
We run a professional, fun and knowledgeable wine retail store as well as offering our customers the opportunity to drink on-site in the Wine Bank from our Enomatic machines.
The role will involve both the retail and bar side of the business as well as ensuring all guests receive the best service.
KEY SKILLS
· Excellent customer service
· Actively give the customer attention throughout the shop floor and the tills.
· Replenishes the sales floor – involves movement of stock and lifting.
· Stays familiar with products, concepts, and merchandise information
· Keep the selling area, clean and well maintained
· Serves customers on the tills, reports, handles all required transactions, issues the receipts and packs merchandise in a proper and efficient manner.
· Answer phone courteously and promptly
· Prior Experience in retail preferable.
· Good Communication skills
· Ability to work flexible hours and Friday/Saturday evenings.
· Knowledge of wine or a WSET qualification would obviously be an advantage
· Knowledge of Epos desirable
· General housekeeping
There may also be occasional extra shifts available to cover holidays.
Once given the right training you will also be able to work under your own initiative and be confident upselling wine and spirits to customers. You will have a good knowledge of wine and food pairing.
The part-time role is spread over 5 working days, Tuesday to Saturday and totals 31 hours. Very competitive annual salary on offer and incentives.
