The Director of Sales is a key role in our all-important On Trade business; combining the leadership of a 7-strong Sales team and the development and delivery of our Sales strategy in a region encompassing Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, M4 Corridor, Cotswolds and South Wales.
Our customer base is a diverse one; made up of independent restaurants, casual dining outlets, food-led pubs, hotels and some multiple groups. Your role will be to drive profitable growth ahead of the market via your team – in both new and existing accounts. Our business model is based on our exceptional customer service and the provision of tailored wine solutions to help our customers to grow wine sales and margin.
We’re looking for a motivational Sales Leader and Coach, who can inspire both the team and customers in pursuit of goals and targets. You must have a strong track record in sales and winning new business in the on trade, specifically the HORECA sector, and wine knowledge to Advanced WSET level standard or above.
Your customer relationship building skills will be outstanding and you will also possess exceptional commercial know-how and an analytical approach to utilising data and technology to enhance sales team performance.
