What do you need to know about Adnams and our team?
Not only do we make amazing award-winning beers and spirits from our home in Southwold, we also have an extensive range of wines which we sell not only online but in our lovely shops across the region and sell in our stunning pubs and hotels.
Our buying team is looking to grow with a Procurement Assistant – Wine. This an exciting new role that will support our Wine Buyer with the coordination of logistics and all areas of Wine procurement. The Buying team understand the value of every supplier and customer and work hard to maintain these relationships.
What do we want?
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Assistant, who is able to manage the supply of products and services with procurement of wine. You will provide administrative support, work with suppliers and be able to build and maintain strong relationships to ensure the procurement process runs smoothly and to the highest standard. You will support the Wine Buyer on the pricing of wines, social media campaigns and the selection of wines for our quarterly wine club cases.
With your strong wine knowledge and ability to speak and write French you will embrace every opportunity to manage relationships with existing suppliers, some that have been supplying Adnams for several generations.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, relevant buying qualifications or experience in a similar role or environment. This is a full-time role based at our Distribution Centre in Reydon and there is little travel involved, however, on some occasions you will have the opportunity to visit our suppliers.

Annual Salary - Up to £25,000 dependant on experience
