Marasby is the UK's first marketplace for English and Welsh wine. Customers buy direct from producers at cellar door prices. This cuts down on wasted road miles and packaging making it better for the customer, better for the producer and better for the planet.
We already have 40 producers on the site and we're now expanding our range. We need an E-Commerce Exec to help.
Job Description:
As Ecommerce Exec you'll be responsible for managing the ecommerce section of the Marasby platform to keep it accuracte, up to date and brand aligned. Tasks include:
- Maintaining regular contact with producers to gather information for new releases, stock levels, product images and product data.
- Accurately uploading producer and product content on the site.
- Building relationships with producers to keep across promotional activities, track offers and reflect these across Marasby platforms.
- Following up and confirming orders with producers.
- Keeping records of orders and payments.
- Writing tasting notes for new product listings.
- Reviewing and refreshing product focused blog and promotional content.

Your Skills & Experience:
- Systematic, organised and precise approach.
- Capable of working with a diverse array of English wine producers ranging from large, internationally acclaimed sparkling wine estates to small-scale boutique producers crafting a few thousand bottles annually.
- Experience in website content management, preferable with WordPress/WooCommerce.
- Proficient in written English.
- Decent wine knowledge, particularly an interest in English wine.
- WSET qualifications are beneficial.
