We are looking for somone to fill a part-time position within our business, working 2-3 evenings per week (inc. weekends), assisting in all aspects of running a busy independant wine merchant in the heart of Reading.
The right candidate will be an integral part of boosting both off and on trade sales and must posess a positive outgoing attitude with a willingness to learn and get involved within our small team. The job role will entail:
- Helping to run busy tasting events occuring weekly
- Being involved in the serving of food (charcuterie and cheese platters)
- Hepling to maintain good standards in cleanliness and attention to detail of the business
- Advising customers on wine after experience and confidence has been gained.
- Interacting with customers and handling any requests they may have.
Knowledge of wine can be learnt on the job, but an enthusiasm for the world of wine, as well as a focus on a great customer service experience is vital.
